There has been strong studies showing positive impact of gratitude on mental health and wellbeing. Most of us have experienced how difficult it is to fully care for, be present with, and aware of daily the needs of the children we work when we are running on empty ourselves. As educators, parents, and caregivers it is too often our norm to push through each day without knowing how to make time for ourselves. "We will get to it later" as other, more immediate needs seem to take priority. |
