Mental Health is a growing concern among children, adolescents and young adults. The numbers show that anxiety and depression are on the rise with many children and adolescents going undiagnosed. The good news is that in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and many other countries there a range of providers available to support you. Reach out to friends, parents, your school counselor, teachers, faith leader, coach or another adult if you are struggling so that you don't have to be alone. If you are worried about a friend or family member, ask them how they are doing, listen and encourage them to get support.
Anxiety and depression are highly treatable and best when addressed early on. CNN Article: https://edition.cnn.com/2019/02/11/health/children-teens-mental-health-untreated-study/index.html
